RECENT UPDATE: Many Randwick Day Surgery forms have been recently updated, including the consent form, admission guidelines and clinical privileges forms. The new forms are available under Necessary Paperwork.

Randwick Day Surgery was established in 1995 to provide general anaesthesia or IV sedation for dentistry and oral surgery. We offer a fully equipped theatre and anaesthetic facility with qualified and experienced staff.

Why did we establish this facility?

It was recognised at the time that a safe licensed purpose built centre could offer an alternative for many people who put off treatment due to anxiety and/or lack of time for multiple visits. With general anaesthesia the dentist can complete a large quantity of work in a relatively short space of time ensuring optimum comfort for the patient and an opportunity to complete a treatment plan relatively stress-free.

We have an additional licence for children aged 2 to 14 years and have provided many children and their parents with a pleasant alternative to traumatic experiences in the dental chair.

Your treatment needs are best assessed in consultation with a dentist. If you do not have a preferred dentist our office staff can arrange a consultation with an accredited dentist.

Randwick Day Surgery is committed to provide the highest level of care by ensuring that all our procedures comply with all the relevant Australian standards, Codes, Legislation and Best Practice.

We have full certification with global-mark in accordance with the International Quality Standard AS/ISO 9001-2000 which ensures that only the highest standard of patient care is given by our staff to meet the needs and expectations of our patients and referring doctors.

Our Management System also incorporates both environmental management and Occupational Health and Safety procedures which comply with all the current statutory regulations.
